A success story
The success story of reifen.com started in 1989 in Hanover with the founding of Autoreparatur Heiko Knigge GmbH (whose headquarters were relocated to Bielefeld in 1991, alongside a name change to TYREX Reifen-Center GmbH) and Reifen-Center GmbH. TYREX acquired a majority stake in Reifen-Center GmbH in 2001, creating close ties. In 2012, the two companies were renamed to become reifencom GmbH Bielefeld and reifencom GmbH Hanover.
